After a long time we are finally back to Tunisia with one of its most iconic artists. We constantly mention him for his contribution to bochka (the Bochka Power Podcast is a must) and his powerful yet enveloping kicks that always have an impact with every new release.
For the 45th chapter of the ECLYPSE INVITES Podcast series we’re happy to announce VØLK!
ECLYPSE: What is your name, age, and where are you from?
My name is Vølk, I’m 21 years old and I come from Tunisia

ECLYPSE: Why VØLK?
Volk means “wolf ” in Russian. I’m narturally attracted to these animals, I love their mentality and their IQ so I decided to bring them with me in this journey
ECLYPSE: What inspired you to produce and DJ and when did you start?
My first source of inspiration came from attending raves. I was lucky to meet like-minded people that loved techno as much as I did. From there, I started a process of digging and listening and sharing and digging again until I decided it was time to try it myself.
Being surrounded by people who love the same stuff as you has helped a lot as our connection has grown stronger and we pushed each other to develop more and more every day. Don’t underestimate who’s part of your circle because they can bring a lot of energy to your plate.
I learned how to DJ in 2023 and after some months of mixing I decied I needed more so I started producing tracks in 2024
ECLYPSE: What do you want to express with your music?
With my music I mainly want to express the phase of life I’m currently in. I wouldn’t say it’s about feelings but rather representation of what I’m hiding inside during a certain period.
Each phase is different and makes every creation unique.
For example right now I’m in a more relaxed phase. I’m at peace with life and that has lead me to be more open towards the different shades of music and explore more with new tracks
ECLYPSE: Who are the Producers and DJs you are looking the most up to?
There are definitely too many artists I admire to mention them all but if I had to choose a few I would say: Gutekin, UH and Kazakhstan nose shifters.
I love their way of expressing themselves, they don’t follow rules or set limits and this allows us to truly feel their music. It reaches a point where listening stops being a mechanical action and it all becomes a natural flow
ECLYPSE: What are your expectations for 2025?
My expectations for 2025 are really simple. I want to develop my skills and my style more and more every week. My main goal is to just become a better version of the artist I was the previous month and so on
ECLYPSE: Do you think Techno as a genre has evolved in the past years?
Yes, it has. We can all see how much easier it has become for newer artists to approach the genre and be noticed. This clearly is due to the evolution and expansion of techno
ECLYPSE: How is your local DJ scene?
Our local DJ scene in Tunisia is very powerful in terms of talent and presence of people. Our community really enjoys what we do.
But it is becoming more and more difficult to organize events and express ourselves in total freedom
Thank you so much for accepting ECLYPSE’s invite, we are looking forward to promoting your music in the future on our label, we are honored to have you here!
