We are proud to invite //AK47/// which is one of the most renowned Tunisian members of the EKIP squad from the capital that bears the same name – TUNIS – to our ECLYPSE PODCAST SERIES.

Let’s cut straight to the chase and begin with the interview, as you all are already acquainted with the ECLYPSE format, here are a few questions that I’ve asked //AK47// to answer in order for his audience to know him better!

ECLYPSE: What is your name, age and where are you from?

My name is //AK47// and I am 20 years old from Tunisia.

ECLYPSE: What inspired you to get into DJ-ing and music production and when did you start?

MMCCCXCIX inspired me, he was my mentor regarding music and I started making Industrial Techno myself very quickly because of him.

I also love Bochka, my favorite style of this genre is the Tunisian flavor – especially the one made by EKIIP which I hold very close in my heart.

ECLYPSE: Who are some producers and DJs that you look up the most?

My favorite producers of all time are the following:

CEKTA, DRAAG, NEGATIVE, Parapher, Skoutchi99, SR71 and PAYN.

And my all time favorite DJs are : VOLK, ABAT, WARHEAD and GERM.

ECLYPSE: Huge shoutout to all the artists mentioned above!

ECLYPSE: What are your expectations for 2024?

My expectations for this year are o inspire more people to listen to Industrial and Bochka and explore the genre deeply because it’s well worth a try!

ECLYPSE: Do you think techno music has evolved in the past years?

Yes, we identify new sounds every day and as a result new types of Bochka are born.
