Our third invite is a special one for us, and for Ricardo as well, as he is turning 25 years old today on the release of his podcast on ECLYPSE! Mark the date, it’s 15th of March!

As per the usual format, we asked him a few questions to get you guys to know who SURICØ is as an artist.

ECLYPSE: Hey, could you please tell us your current city and country, age, and a small introduction about yourself?

My name is Ricardo, you probably know me as SURICØ, I am 25 years old, born and live close to Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

In my younger years before 20 I already had some experience with DJing and even had my own DJ controller, I did some other genres then but didn’t really find one I loved to play at that moment.

When I passed the age of 20 and started going to different Techno party’s, I found out that I really like the Industrial Hard techno scene, and on a day I start thinking to make music and downloaded a app on my phone “Garage band”, I did this with my friend Tempot, and started producing there.

We really enjoyed to do this and a lot of the free time went to that app. After a few months there I started producing with Ableton and learned mixing.

From there everything is going very fast I think already have a few (Label) releases online and performed multiple time as a DJ on some nice events here in the Netherlands.

I make and play Industrial hard techno now for almost 2 years.

ECLYPSE: Could you describe your local Industrial scene for us?

Here in the Netherlands the Industrial scene is already really big, there are so many producers and DJs out here and next to that there are every week so many different Industrial Techno events.

I prefer to go to the special underground ones with no phone policy and mostly a black dress code, these parties look so dark and creepy but they are really the most amazing places to go and next to that everybody is really nice to you.

ECLYPSE: Could you give us a brief description of your set?

This set is made with my passion and love for the Industrial Techno scene, I really like to have balance between the rolling, banging and bouncy kick sounds to give everybody who is listening to my set a bunch of energy and give you the feeling that you need to move!

The euphoric moments and sometimes a melodic in the set are to let you feel and connect with my power and emotions🖤
